Pathways Snapshot assessments are customized to be tailored to the needs of each district’s pacing guide and curriculum plan. The following is the process to expect for this customization:
- In August, the Pathways Assessment Team will contact each districts' designated district testing coordinator with selection sheets for the creation of Snapshot assessments.
- Once the district testing coordinator fills out the selection sheets with the desired assessment content, they will submit them to the Pathways team through a google form to have the Snapshot assessments created. See Selecting Snapshot Standards/Items FAQ to learn more about creating a Snapshot.
- When the Snapshot assessment creation is complete, the Pathways team will upload the assessments to the district-level ‘Pending Licenses’ list.
- When the time comes for teachers to administer Snapshot assessments, the district's testing coordinator will need to activate the assessments for distribution to teachers.
- During activation of the Snapshot assessments, the district testing coordinator will select a privacy level to determine who can view the assessments and when.
