Activating an Assessment

An essential part of your district's testing program is the activation of Pathways Assessments and the selection and management of each assessment's security level. District level site administrators can activate assessments in the following way: 


1. Login to your Pathways account through Clever, ClassLink, or at k12els.com. 


2. Navigate to Pathways to Proficiency -> Measures -> Tests. 


3. If there are tests ready for activation, you will see ‘Pending Tests’ along with a red number in the upper right corner of the page. 


4. By clicking on 'Pending,' district-level administrator can access all the Benchmark assessments that are available at that moment, but have yet to be activated. The district level user can review the assessment by clicking the three blue lines to the left of the test name. After previewing, the administrator can decide the status to assign to the assessment (Private from All, Private from Teachers, Private from All (Assign Only), or Public).
