Opening an Assignment

1. Login to your Pathways account through Clever, ClassLink, or at k12els.com. 

2. Navigate to Pathways to Proficiency -> Measures -> Assignments.

3. Locate the assignment you would like to open, and select the folder icon to the far left of the assessment name.  If the folder icon is not present, this means a district level administrator has made the assessment private. 

4. To open the assignment, select the ‘open’ button at the top of the page. (When an assignment is open, you are able to administer the test but unable to publish or score answers.)

6. Alternatively, locate the assignment(s) you would like to open, and select the box(es) to the far left of the assignment(s). Then press the ‘Actions’ button at the top left and choose ‘Open for Testing.’

Note: When an assignment is open, the preliminary results of the test that can be seen after choosing the folder icon for an assignment do not refresh until the assignment is closed. It is important to remember that looking at the percentage correct while an assignment is open can be misleading.
