Batch Assigning an Assessment

The 'Multiple Assignments' option within the assignments portal allows teachers and administrators to create up to 50 assignments at a time. To mass assign an assessment, follow these steps: 


1. Login to your Pathways account through Clever, ClassLink, or at k12els.com. 


2. Navigate to Pathways to Proficiency -> Measures -> Assignments  -> Assign Test. 


3. There are two ways to find the test you need to assign:

    a. Turn off the ‘Basic View’ to use the same filters as the test list. 

    b. Choose the content area of the test you wish to assign.


4. Locate the correct test, and select the blue ‘Assign’ button to the left of the assessment ID. 


5. Once the assessment is selected, switch to 'multiple assignments' in the bottom left of the panel. 


6. Classes will be listed by teacher name/class period. If a class period is incorrectly assigned, it can be corrected using the drop down menu in the 'period' column. Once all classes for which you wish to assign the assessment have been selected, choose 'Create Assignments.' You will be able to create up to 50 assignments at a time. 


7. A screen will appear that informs you when each assignment has saved. 

IMPORTANT: Do not leave the page until all assignments have saved. If you choose 'close' before all assignments have saved, the assignments still loading will be cancelled.
