Creating a Passage

1. Login to your Pathways account through Clever, ClassLink, or at k12els.com. 

2. Navigate to Pathways to Proficiency -> Measures -> Items. 

3. Navigate to 'Passages' at the top of the page. 

4. Choose 'Add Passage' at the top left corner of the page. 

5. Fill in all needed passage details, then select 'Start Editor.' 

6. Copy and paste your passage into the text box. To add an image, select the image icon in the second row of editing options. 

7. To find the image you would like to add, select 'Browse Server.' Do not copy and paste a URL; an image inserted with this method will not show up on the student's test browser. 

8. When finished adding the passage, select 'exit editor' at the top of the page. 

9. To save the passage, choose 'Save' or 'Save and Close' from the top of the page.
