While Pathways (formerly known as Educational Leadership Solutions) was officially launched in 2003, it began years earlier when CEO Paul Shelly and CTO Kevin Baer collaborated to create lesson planning technology for Lawhon Elementary, where Shelly held an administrative role. Since then, the duo has continued to stay closely engaged with educators and administrators, listening for their evolving needs to develop software solutions for the most relevant challenges in education.
These solutions have morphed from lesson planning, to teacher evaluation and tier process platforms, to data analysis, to benchmark assessments, and then finally to Pathways to Proficiency - an innovative student assessment application that provides data insights to inform instruction and offers multiple levels of support to correct student misconceptions.
Today, the Pathways team continues to listen to educators to find the best and most practical solutions to their evolving needs, creating new and updated partnerships, products, and features that will most effectively benefit educators and students alike.
