Analyzing Student Performance across Multiple Assessments

Modified on Tue, 5 Nov, 2024 at 12:06 PM

1. Log in to your account via k12els.com, Clever, or Classlink.

2. Navigate to Pathfinder -> Student Tracker.

3. There are two ways to search rosters:

  1. If you are the main teacher in the classroom, choose ‘Use Schedules’ to find your students.

  2. If you are not the main teacher in the classroom, choose ‘Use Custom Groups’ to find your student. If you are not assigned to a custom group, ask your administrator to create a custom student group with the students that you need to access.

4. Find the student(s) whose results you would like to analyze, and select the box(es) beside their name(s). Select the ‘Analyze Student’ button above the student list.

5. Choose the year and content area you would like to analyze.

6. Select ‘Breakdown by Standard’ on the left side of the screen.

7. Choose which assessments you wish to include in the breakdown by standard.

  1. The green lines at 60% and 80% provide a frame of reference for educators to measure content mastery for standards. On benchmark assessments, generally speaking, 60% represents proficiency and 80% represents advanced performance.
  2. Sort the columns by standard, number of items, student percent correct, school percent correct, or school comparison by clicking on the title of that column.
  3. View the standard details and create a review from the easiest questions missed for that standard.
  4. Find lesson planning resources and short standard-specific assessments through Pathways.
  5. Major Standard Cluster (MCS) indicates that the standard will show up more frequently on the state test. In ELA, this classification is referred to as “Power Standard.”
