Creating Student Reviews from Analysis and Growth Dashboard

Modified on Tue, 25 Feb at 7:38 AM

There are two ways to create reviews for students: from the Item Analysis assessment report and from the Analysis and Growth Dashboard. This article will explain how to create a test review from the Analysis and Growth dashboard. This method of review allows teachers to print individualized worksheets or create individualized online tests for an entire classroom or group of students at once.

1. Login to your Pathways account through Clever, ClassLink, or at k12els.com.

2. Navigate to Pathways to Proficiency -> Analysis and Review -> Test Reports.

3. Locate the test for which you wish to create a review, and select the graph icon to the left of the test name.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page in the section labeled ‘Student Review.’ Select the ‘Create’ button under worksheet review or online review, depending upon which type of review you want to create.

5. If printing worksheets:

  1. First, choose whether you would like to include the original assessment items, similar items, or both on the reviews.
  2. Choose how many questions you would like on each student’s review by checking or unchecking the boxes on the top row of the table. The default setting will be the five easiest questions that each student missed.
  3. Choose the student(s) for which you wish to print reviews, either by checking the box beside their name or by choosing an entire classroom in the ‘Select by Period’ drop down menu.
  4. Select ‘Print Review Worksheet(s)’
  5. Choose whether or not you would like to include the answer key in the top right corner, then select ‘Print Test.’
  6. Under ‘More Settings’ ensure that ‘Background Graphics’ is on, then select ‘Print.’

6. If creating an online review:

  1. Choose the blue ‘Edit’ icon beside the class period for which you wish to create online reviews.
  2. Choose how many questions you would like on each student’s review by checking or unchecking the boxes on the top row of the table. The default setting will be the 5 easiest questions that each student missed.
  3. Select ‘Save as an Online Review.’
  4. You will have three options after saving the online review:
    1. 'Manage the Review Assignment’ allows you to Open, Edit, and Close the review students are currently working on.
    2. 'Define a Review for Another Test’ allows you to create a review for a completely different test.
    3. Choose Another Assignment for This Test’ allows you to create a review for another group of students that took the same test.
