Publishing an Assignment

Modified on Tue, 5 Nov, 2024 at 11:49 AM

Before publishing an assignment, ensure that all students have completed the test. An assignment can be unpublished, but the assignment cannot go back to the ‘in-progress’ stage once published the first time. In other words, once an assignment has been published once, students will no longer be able to login to that assignment, even if the assignment is unpublished.

1. Login to your Pathways account through Clever, ClassLink, or at k12els.com.

2. Navigate to Pathways to Proficiency -> Measures -> Assignments.

3. Locate the assessment you are administering, and select the folder icon to the left of the assessment date. If the folder icon is not present, this means a district level administrator has made the assessment private.

4. The assignment must be closed before you are able to publish the assessment.

5. Check the ‘Progress %’ column to ensure that all students have completed the assessment.

6. When all students have completed the assessment, select the ‘Publish and Complete’ button at the top right of the screen.

7. Once published, the assessment will have score reports and reviews ready at Pathways to Proficiency -> ‘Analysis and Review.’ See Accessing Assessment Reports.
